Full-Time Mammographer

General Job Purpose:

Corridor Radiology is currently seeking a candidate for a friendly, professional full-time mammographer to join our team of dedicated caregivers.  You will have the opportunity to work in cross modalities, bone density, and general x-ray.


  • Perform, review, and evaluate mammography images to ACR standards.
  • Perform and maintain QA procedures and records in accordance with ACR and state requirements.
  • Review and evaluate x-rays or computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Take thorough and accurate patient medical histories.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with referring physicians, co-workers, and patients.
  • Work with other radiologic staff to maintain patient flows and achieve production goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all health information, HIPAA compliance.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams.


  • Minimum of one to two years of experience preferred
  • Mammography certified
  • ARRT registry required
  • Iowa Permit to Practice required
  • CPR certified
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and solve problems effectively
  • The ability to work as a team player
  • Self-Motivator
