Billing
Because Corridor Radiology and Muscatine Radiology are stand-alone radiology centers, we are able to bill as an office visit. This means your visit will typically result in only a co-pay, which means less out-of-pocket cost for you. We also offer competitive "cash-pay" or "self-pay" pricing.
Pricing Transparancy
Navigating insurance and understanding out-of-pocket expenses can be challenging. That’s why we provide global billing, which means all elements of your exam are included in one price, whether you use insurance or choose our self-pay option.
Since we specialize exclusively in radiology, we avoid the overhead costs of larger institutions, allowing us to offer lower base prices which could potentially save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
The term "base price" represents the exam cost submitted to insurance.
We welcome referrals from all healthcare providers!
Corridor Radiology and Muscatine Radiology proudly accept referrals from any physician or care provider, including University of Iowa Health Care, UnityPoint, Mercy Medical Center, MercyOne, private practices, midwives, and more.

You Choose, You Save

Coinsurance
Your share of the costs of service. It is usually figured as a percentage of the amount allowed to be charged for services. You start paying the coinsurance after you've paid your plan's deductible.
Deductible
The amount you pay for health care service before your health insurance begins to pay.
Copay
Also known as copayment, is a relatively small, fixed fee required by a health insurer to be paid by the patient at the time of each office visit, outpatient service, or filling of a prescription. The amount can vary by the type of service and typically is not applied to your deductible.
Self-Pay Pricing
Corridor and Muscatine Radiology offer a significant discount for patients who prefer to forgo using their insurance, are under-insured, or un-insured. This option is beneficial and open to all patients and is especially advantageous for those who have high-deductibles, or are enrolled in self-insured or HSA plans.
